Jeff Fielder
Jeff Fielder

The hijack raised to 2,500 and Jeff Fielder defended his big blind to see a {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop.

Both players checked and the {7-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn.

Fielder check-called the 2,500 bet from his opponent and the {8-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Fielder led out for 7,500 and his opponent quickly mucked their hand.

Beik Doubles Through Morfitt in Cooler

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Adam Beik
Adam Beik

After a player in early position opened to 1,700, Adam Beik three-bet jammed for 9,500 from middle position and Matt Morfitt isolated from the next seat over.

Adam Beik: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Matt Morfitt: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Beik held the pocket pair and didn't have a sweat as the {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} runout secured his double-up.

Welko Scoops with Better Kicker

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Craig Welko
Craig Welko

Craig Welko raised to 2,000 from the hijack and found two callers that saw a {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop.

Action was checked around by all three players and the {a-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Welko check-called the 3,000 bet from the button and action went heads-up to the {10-Clubs} river.

Both players checked and tabled their hands. The button showed {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for top pair but it was no good as Welko held big slick {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} to win the pot.
