Wilkie Drops One

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Steve Wilkie From Day 1b Action
Steve Wilkie From Day 1b Action

Steve Wilkie raised from the hijack and then called a three-bet from the button.

The {4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop saw Wilkie check-raise to 8,000 after his opponent continued for 2,500. Wilkie's opponent jammed for not much more and Wilkie called.

Opponent: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Steve Wilkie: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Wilkie flopped two-pair but had a sweat as his opponent held the nut flush draw and the {3-Spades} turn brought possible chop outs if a deuce were to fall on the river.

Luckily for Wilkie, the {q-Spades} completed the board on the river and secured him the elimination.

Josh Reichard Flushes Opponent for KO

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

A player from middle position open-jammed for 5,000 and was called by Renee Kessel from the button, along with MSPT champ Josh Reichard from the big blind.

The {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board was checked to the {5-Diamonds} river where Reichard led out for 7,500 and Kessel released her hand.

Reichard quickly showed {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the king-high flush and it was good as his opponent stood up tossing {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} into the muck.

Barnum Gifted with Straight Flush

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Justin Barnum From Day 1a Action
Justin Barnum From Day 1a Action

Four players limped in to see a {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-} flop and a player from early position led out for 2,600.

Justin Barnum called from middle position as did one other and the {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

The player from early position check-called the 11,000 bet from Barnum while the other folded, and the {q-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Barnum's opponent moved all-in for 7,000 and was called. Barnum's opponent rolled over {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} for top two-pair but it was no good, as the river gave Barnum a straight flush {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and he eliminated his opponent from the tournament.
