Springael Takes the Chip Lead

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Joris Springael
Joris Springael

Joris Springael's domination of Johnny Oshana continues.

This time, Springael defended the big blind for 350,000. The flop checked through for a board of {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Springael check-called a big bet of 600,000 then checkd the {6-Spades}. Oshana cut out 1.5 million then added 500,000 more and slid it in. Springael snap-called.

Oshana showed {k-}{q-} with a shrug and Springael showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Oshana Caught Bluffing

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Johnny Oshana opened for 360,000 in the cutoff and Brandon Eisen defended the big blind. Eisen check-called 450,000 on the {5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop and the {9-Diamonds} was quickly checked by both players. Eisen checked the {3-Spades} and Oshana instantly threw in 1.1 million.

After about 90 seconds, Eisen called and Oshana seemed reluctant to show. Eisen threw in {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Eisen Doubles Through Cristos

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Brandon Eisen shoved second to act for 1,035,000. Jordan Cristos, from the big blind, requested the dealer break down the stacks. Then, he called and tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Eisen was crushed with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and asked for a five one time.

The dealer delivered {2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} then the {5-Hearts} on the river.

Another player claimed to have folded a five.

Kfir Nahum Eliminated in 7th Place ($20,257)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Kfir Nahum
Kfir Nahum

An unusual situation just occurred. The board read {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{k-Clubs} on the flop and Kfir Nahum put in 1.1 million, leaving 40,000 back, from the button. Johnny Oshana had an equal amount committed, but we didn't see who bet and who called. It sounded like the players each agreed to check after that, so no further money went in on the {j-Spades} or {a-Hearts}.

"You win," Oshana said, turning over the {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

"No, you win," Nahum said as he mucked.

Seungmook Jung called for the floor and asked if that was allowed, but no action was taken.

Nahum busted the next hand.

Erik Cajelais Eliminated in 8th Place ($14,092)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Erik Cajelais
Erik Cajelais

Erik Cajelais opened for 200,000 under the gun and Seungmook Jung defended the big blind. Jung checked the {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop and Cajelais continued for 200,000. Jung made it 650,000, Cajelais shoved about 1.6 million and Jung snap-called.

Jung: {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Cajelais: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The {5-Spades} filled Jung to a boat and the {3-Spades} kept that boat best.
