Jung Doubles Through Springael

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Brandon Eisen opened in middle position, Joris Springael three-bet to 455,000 in the hijack and Seungmook Jung shoved on the button. Action folded back to Springael, who called for about 1.5 million.

Springael: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Jung: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Spades} was exactly what Jung needed, and the two nines that followed did him no harm.

David Gu Eliminated in 9th Place ($12,331)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

David Gu got his last 960,000 in from the big blind with {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} but was dominated by small blind Joris Springael's {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} brought nothing for Gu, but he turned some outs with the {4-Clubs}. The {9-Spades} wasn't what he needed to survive.

Sean Yu Eliminated in 10th Place ($12,331)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Sean Yu
Sean Yu

Sean Yu got the last 350K in with {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and was live against the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} of Brandon Eisen. Not so much after the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and no help emerged for Yu after that flop.

Asher Conniff Eliminated in 11th Place ($10,569)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Asher Conniff lost a flip with {6-}{6-} to the {a-}{q-} of Erik Cajelais for a big chunk of his stack. He got the rest in with, ironically, {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} against Jordan Cristos' {6-}{6-}, but Cristos flopped a set and turned him dead.

Jesse Lonis Eliminated in 12th Place ($10,569)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jesse Lonis raised to 175,000 on the button, Johnny Oshana made it 580,000 in the big blind, and Lonis came back with 975,000. Oshana jammed and Lonis went deep in the tank. He had about 2 million more and called off after a few minutes.

Oshana: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Lonis {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop brought nothing for Lonis ad the {10-Spades} turned him dead.

David "Brownie" Brownworth Eliminated in 13th Place ($9,160)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

David "Brownie" Brownworth called off for about 170,000 after Jordan Cristos opened early, and everyone else folded. Brownworth had {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and was live against {a-Spades}{q-Spades} but the {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} board just made Cristos a flush.

Conniff Doubles Through Springael

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Asher Conniff was all in on a flop of {6-}{5-}{4-} for about 500,000. It looked like he executed a stop-and-go from the big blind, and Joris Springael had him at risk with {a-}{9-} against {7-}{6-}. Neither the turn nor the river busted Conniff.

Adam Hendrix Eliminated in 14th Place ($9,160)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Adam Hendrix
Adam Hendrix

Adam Hendrix was all in for about 900,000 and big blind Jesse Lonis went into the tank briefly then called.

Lonis: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Hendrix: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop was perfect for Hendrix but the {a-Spades} was a grim turn. He moved to exit and the {3-Spades} would indeed be the last card he saw.
