Reilly Has the Goods

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Three people put in 17,000 on the turn on a board of {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}, bringing a {5-Spades} river. Rania Nasreddine checked in the small blind and the big blind shoved for 30,000. Tim Reilly got the count from under the gun and called pretty quickly. Nasreddine folded.

Reilly showed {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and scooped up the pot.

Gaspard Runs Out Well

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

We didn't see when the money went in between Prince Gaspard and an opponent on a board of {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, but Gaspard's {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} had prevailed against {9-Spades}{5-Clubs} after he'd initially been outflopped. The backdoor eights gave him winning two pair with a king kicker, and Gaspard collected about 30,000 from his opponent.

Last Barrel Convinces Reilly

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tim Reilly

Tim Reilly defended his big blind versus an under-the-gun open. He check-called 6,000, about half the pot, on {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}. He checked the {9-Clubs} and faced a bigger barrel of 20,000. He counted down his stack then called. On the {7-Diamonds} river, Reilly checked a final time. His opponent slid in 50,000 and Reilly folded pretty quickly.

Martie Eliminated

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Svetlana Martie was down to about 11,000 in the big blind. She called a min-raise out of middle position then stuck the last few chips in on the {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop.

Martie: {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

It wasn't a great spot for Martie as some of her straight outs were only good for a chop, and the {a-Clubs} and {a-Diamonds} only improved her opponent anyway.

Heeb Running Hot

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Brian Heeb opened on the button for 3,500 and called a shove worth 17,500 on his left. He showed {q-Spades}{j-Spades} and was dominated by {a-}{q-}.

"He's in bad shape," someone said.

"He's never in bad shape," someone else responded, referencing Heeb's hot run.

Sure enough, the flop brought two spades and the river a third, giving Heeb a flush. His opponent was less than amused and exited in a huff.

"Here Comes the Comeback"

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player in the hijack opened for 3,500 and was called by the small blind. Big blind Viet Vo splashed his 4,500 in and the other players called. On the {5-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop, the hijack bet 4,000 and got it heads up.

Vo: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Vo was in good shape and faded anything running out to beat him on the turn and river.

"Here comes the comeback," he said. "Ya'll in trouble now."
