Foxen Raises on the River

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The completed board showed {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, and Christoph Vogelsang bet 25,000 from under the gun.

Alex Foxen was facing the decision from the button and raised to 78,500.

"Ah, I have a good hand," said Vogelsang and the seconds passed by.

After using three time bank cards, Vogelsang took a final look at his hand and passed it to the dealer.

"I don't know if I was value betting or not," said Foxen as he took in the pot.

The board showed {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades} when Steve O'Dwyer moved all in for his remaining stack. Stephen Chidwick called, leaving himself just 500 behind if he were to lose. O'Dwyer tabled {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes and Chidwick mucked his cards, shipping the large pot to O'Dwyer.

Chidwick busted just a couple of hands after and is now in line to fire his second bullet into the main event.
