Charlie Carrel has defeated partypoker ambassador Jason Koon heads-up to win the 2019 Triton £50,000 8-Handed No Limit Hold'em event for £1,321,000.

Carrell's win sees him jump into third-place on the England all-time money list and now sits behind only Sam Trickett and Stephen Chidwick.

The event saw 109 entries take part and an extra day was needed for the heads-up matched to be completed.

Carrel spoke to the media straight after his victory, then immediately jumped into the £100k field.
