Zhang Eliminated by Schulman

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Michael Chi Zhang raised to 5,500 from the cutoff with {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} before Nick Schulman three-bet to 17,000 from the button with {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

The decision made its way back to Zhang and he four-bet to 49,000. Schulman peaked at his cards once more and called, with the flop falling {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Zhang 22,500 and Schulman called before the {2-Spades} hit the turn.

Zhang continued his story and bet 68,000, with Schulman making the flat call.

After the {j-Clubs} was revealed on the river, Zhang checked, and Schulman moved all in 171,000.

Zhang needed time to think, but after a minute passed, he called for his final 132,000 and saw the bad news.

Linus Loeliger Wins the Triton £25k 6-Handed NLH Turbo

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Linus Loeliger added a Triton title to his name after taking down the £25k 6-Handed NLH Turbo today for £690,000.

After the final seven saw Day 1 end on July 31, the tournament was paused while the Triton Million took place.

The players retook their seats at 1 PM today on the feature stage, and ultimately Loeliger defeated Canada's Lucas Greenwood to secure the win.

Loeliger, like fellow Triton title winner Charlie Carrel today, has now jumped into the £100k action.
