Pitavy Eliminated by Chen
Level 23
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Mingcong Chen made it 400,000 to go and was called by one of the table short stacks in Emilien Pitavy out of the big blind. On a flop of 10♣7♦6♦, they both checked and the 9♣ followed on the turn to make the board even straightier and flushier. Pitavy now bet 700,000 and Chen called.
On the 5♣ river, Pitavy bet 750,000 with around 1.4 million behind and then called all-in to the shove of Chen. He was shown K♣8♣ for the flush and saw his 8♥6♥ go down in flames. For his efforts, Pitavy received $27,900.
