Xu Yang moved in for his last six million from the small blind and Gytis Lazauninkas called in the big blind with a covering stack.
Xu Yang: K♥8♥
Gytis Lazauninkas: 9♦9♥
Yang would need to connect in a big way to keep his Main Event run going, but the 10♥5♠2♣J♦2♦ runout held up Lazauninkas' nines, eliminating the once chip leader in fourth place.
Nick Schulman raised to 1,200,000 from the cutoff and it was folded to Bernhard Binder, who shoved from the big blind. Schulman quickly called all in for 12,675,000 total and a massive showdown was held.
Nick Schulman: A♦K♣
Bernhard Binder: K♥9♥
It was an unfortunate misstep from Binder, who had jammed his king-nine into a dominating ace-king.
The board ran out 6♠J♥3♣7♦3♠ — keeping Schulman's ace best for the double-up and sending his stack soaring to 26 million.

Nick Schulman opened to 800,000 with A♠3♣ from the cutoff and was three-bet to 2,600,000 on the button by Xu Yang holding 7♥7♠.
Bernhard Binder then cold four-bet shoved for over 13 million from the big blind with Q♣Q♠, which got a quick fold from Schulman and a tank-fold from Yang to send Binder's stack to nearly 18 million.
A few hands later, Gytis Lazauninkas called from the small blind with 9♣9♠ and called after Binder made it 1,300,000 to go from the big blind holding 4♦2♣.
Both players checked on the A♠Q♠10♦ flop, but Lazauninkas check-folded facing a 2,500,000 bet from Binder on the 5♥ turn.
Bernhard Binder raised to 800,000 from the cutoff with A♣Q♣ and called a three-bet to 2,700,000 from Xu Yang in the small blind holding A♠9♠.
Both players checked on the 10♥10♣Q♠ flop, but Yang check-folded facing a 1,550,000 bet from Binder on the 6♣ turn.
Gytis Lazauninkas opened to 800,000 with J♠9♠ from the cutoff and Xu Yang defended his big blind holding K♠Q♠.
Yang check-called an 800,000 bet from Lazauninkas on the 8♦4♥Q♦ flop and a 2,000,000 barrel from Lazauninkas on the 3♠ turn.
The A♥ completed the board and Yang checked a final time. Lazauninkas fired a bet of 3,800,000 into the middle, leaving himself just 475,000 behind.
Yang went deep into the tank, but eventually deided to lay down the best hand, awarding Lazauninkas the pot on a triple-barrel bluff.
Ryuta Nakai shoved for 4,725,000 from the small blind and was called by Nick Schulman in the big blind to be put at risk.
Ryuta Nakai: K♥3♣
Nick Schulman: A♣6♦
Nakai's cards were live, but the 5♠A♥9♥ flop paired Schulman's ace and left Nakai drawing to runner-runner.
It wasn't meant to be, as the 9♠ turn left Nakai drawing dead.
The Q♣ river made Nakai's elimination official in fifth place and he fist-pumped his tablemates before exiting the tournament area.
Xu Yang raised to 800,000 from the hijack with A♣5♥ and found one caller in Nick Schulman in the big blind holding Q♥4♥.
Both players checked on the A♦2♥4♦ flop and then Schulman check-called an 800,000 bet from Yang on the J♥ turn.
The Q♦ river improved Schulman to two pair and he led out for 675,000. Yang tossed in a call and Schulman tabled his cards to claim the pot.
