Fei Gets Away

Xu Yang raised to 400,000 from the cutoff with Q♠Q♦ and was three-bet to 1,500,000 by Wesley Fei in the big blind holding 9♣9♦.

Yang immediatley moved all in for 5,800,000 and Fei let his hand go after a bit of contemplation.

Meanwhile, Danny Tang doubled up on the other table against Danilo Velasevic to grow his stack to 2,200,000.

Bernhard Binder raised to 600,000 from the small blind with Q♦5♥ and Ryuta Nakai defended his big blind holding 8♦7♦.

Both players checked on the 4♠10♣7♥ flop and then Nakai called a 700,000 bet from Binder on the 6♠ turn.

Binder fired 925,000 into the middle after the 10♥ paired the board on the river and Nakai didn't take long to look him up with the best hand for a nice boost to his stack.

Tang Folds Top Pair in the Face of Perez's Aces

Danny Tang was-heads-up against Roberto Perez on a flop of 7♠5♣Q♠ holding Q♣J♦ with a 2,675,000 pot already in the middle.

Apparently, Perez had tabled his A♥A♣, not realizing Tang wasn't yet all in. Wesley Fei announced he had already folded a queen, and Tang was left with just 10 seconds to decide what to do with his last 500,000 in the face of an all in by Perez.

Tang was quickly trying to figure some pot odds calculations in his head before landing on a fold, and Perez was awarded the pot.

"You should call with a queen getting six-to-one," Perez afterwards.

A flustered Tang explained he couldn't think clearly with time pressure and being told he had limited time to act.

From Short Stack to Chip Lead: Fei Takes Control

Gytis Lazauninkas raised to 375,000 from the cutoff holding A♣6♦ and was three-bet to 850,000 by Danny Tang on the button. Just behind him, Wesley Fei shoved for 3,600,000 toal, which got a fold from Lazauninkas, but a quick all from Tang to be put at risk.

Wesley Fei: K♣K♦All in
Danny Tang: A♠K♥

Fei was looking to hold on with his Cowboys, and the 10♠6♠J♥8♦2♠ runout brought no shenanigans, awading the once short-stack another double up to assume the chip lead.

Miroslav Atanasov shoved for his last 1,050,000 from the hijack and was called by Bernhard Binder in the big blind to be put at risk.

Miroslav Atanasov: J♥10♠All in
Bernhard Binder: K♦J♦

Atanasov found himself dominated, and the A♦3♦9♣K♥5♠ runout kept Binder best with a pair of kings to send Atanasov out as the first elimination of Day 3.

Bernhard Binder opened to 300,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 900,000 by Nick Schulman from the big blind. Binder then moved all in and was snap-called by Schulman for his last 3,800,000.

Nick Schulman: A♦A♠All in
Bernhard Binder: A♣K♥

It was a dream spot for Schulman, who had Binder's Big Slick crushed with aces.

The 3♣4♠6♥3♥5♣ runout changed nothing and Schulman doubled into the chip lead.

Isaac Haxton

Action folded around to the blinds, where Isaac Haxton raised to 375,000 from the small blind. Chahnhoon Jung responded with a three-bet to 2,150,000 from the big blind, and Haxton promptly called all in for 2,050,000 total.

Isaac Haxton: A♣A♠All in
Chahnhoon Jung: 10♣9♣

It was bad timing from Jung, who had unwittingly shoved into the preflop nuts of Haxton.

The Q♦10♠A♥3♣2♠ runout left Jung drawing dead by the turn and Haxton was awarded the second double up of the day.
