Wesley Fei opened to 400,000 from the cutoff with 10♣10♥ and was three-bet to 1,100,000 by Ryuta Nakai on the button holding A♠4♥. Action folded back to Fei, who promptly four-bet to 2,100,000.

Nakai let his hand go and Fei revealed his cards before collecting the pot.

Ryuta Nakai

Isaac Haxton opened to 350,000 with Q♠J♠ from early position and was called by Ryuta Nakai in middle position holding A♦Q♥. Xu Yang then squeezed to 1,200,000 from the cutoff with 10♣10♦, which got a fold from Haxton and a call from Nakai.

Nakai checked after hitting top pair on the 6♠A♥9♣ flop and called after Yang bet 700,000.

Both players checked on the 8♦ turn, but Nakai took the initiative with a bet of 1,200,000 on the 8♥ river. Yang let his pair of tens go and Nakai dragged the pot.

Danny Tang Eliminated in 10th Place ($359,000)

Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Gytis Lazauninkas shoved for 2,625,000 from the small blind and was snap-called by Danny Tang for his remaining 1,575,000 to put himself at risk.

Danny Tang: K♥K♣All in
Gytis Lazauninkas: 10♣7♣

It was rough timing from Lazauninkas, who found himself crushed by Tang's Cowboys.

The Q♥4♦7♠ flop gave Tang a bit of a sweat against Lazauninkas' pair of sevens, but the 5♠ turn kept Tang in the lead.

However, the 7♦ struck lightning on the river — improving Lazauninkas to trip sevens to eliminate Tang one spot of the final table in dramatic fashion.

Nakai Forces Binder Off the Best Hand

Ryuta Nakai raised to 400,000 from the hijack with Q♥10♠ and Bernhard Binder defended his big blind with A♠J♣.

Both players connected on the J♠7♣10♦ flop and Binder check-raised a 300,000 bet from Nakai to 900,000, which Nakai called.

Both players checked after the 3♠ fell on the turn, but Binder led out for 700,000 on the K♦ river.

Nakai responded by turning his pair into a bluff and shoving all in, sending Binder deep into the tank. Binder eventually let his pair of jacks go and Nakai was awarded the pot.
