Yildiz Sneaks Value
Level 1
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
First to act, Philip Sternheimer raised to 2,500, and Batuhan Yildiz called in the hijack.
Sternheimer continued for 3,500 on a 3♠4♥6♥ flop, and Yildiz called again. The Q♦ turn followed the same pattern, as Sternheimer bet 6,500, and Yildiz called.
The 6♣ river saw a change in roles, as Sternheimer check-called when Yildiz took over the betting lead for 26,000.
Yildiz tabled J♦J♣, and Sternheimer mucked his cards.
