Ace-High Good Enough for Ivey
Level 1
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Phil Ivey raised to 2,500 from the hijack, and Jules Dickerson three-bet to 9,000 on the button. When the action folded back to Ivey, he called.
Ivey check-called when Dickerson continued for 14,000 on a 4♣3♦9♣ flop, before the 5♥ turn and 8♥ river were checked through.
Ivey tabled A♠10♠, showing ace-high, which was enough to claim the pot as Dickerson returned his cards to the dealer face down.
