Binder Takes the Chip Lead
Level 20
: 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Bernhard Binder limped in from the small blind, and Miroslav Atanasov checked his option in the big blind.
Binder checked to Atanasov on an 8♠5♣9♥ flop, and Atanasov bet 95,000. Binder then check-raised to 320,000, and Atanasov called.
Binder continued for 340,000 on the 5♥ turn, and this time Atanasov raised to 880,000, which Binder called.
The J♠ completed the board, and Binder checked. Atanasov moved all-in for 3,900,000, and Binder called for 2,700,000.
Atanasov tabled K♥7♥, showing a king-high bluff. Binder then revealed he had flopped a straight with his 7♣6♥. That pot catapulted Binder into the tournament chip lead.
