Slowplay Earns Tang River Value
Level 7
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Danny Tang raised to 9,000 from under the gun, which Paul Phua and Thomas Boivin called from the button and big blind.
The action checked through on both the 8♠J♠A♦ flop and the 10♥ turn. The previous street's action tempted Boivin to lead out for 29,000 on the 7♦ river. Tang responded with a raise to 148,000. Phua folded, but Boivin called.
Tang tabled K♦Q♣, and Boivin mucked his cards.
