Kulev Ousts Theologis
Level 2
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Alex Kulev raised to 2,500 from the hijack, which only Alex Theologis called in the big blind.
Theologis check-raised on the Q♥8♦2♠ flop, making it 8,500 after Kulev continued for 2,500. Kulev called the raise.
The K♦ turn slowed Theologis down, however, as he once again checked to Kulev. Kulev bet 23,500, and Theologis called.
When the 3♥ completed the board, Theologis checked a third time, but this time released his cards when Kulev barreled for 70,500.
