As the action continues at the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II, the record-breaking $200,000 Triton Invitational returns for Day 2 at noon local time, with the field set to merge at LES A Casino.
Yesterday, guests and professionals played exclusively within their own groups throughout Day 1, but that separation is now over. The survivors will come together in a single field today, creating a fresh dynamic as contrasting play styles collide across the tables.
A total of 155 entries were recorded across Day 1, a new record for a Triton Invitational event, with 94 players surviving to return for Day 2. Late registration remains open until the start of play, meaning the field could still grow, as could the $38,000,000 prize pool, before the cards are back in the air.
Holding the overnight chip lead is Triton regular Jules Dickerson, who bagged 1,431,000 at the end of Day 1 to return with a huge 179 big blinds when play resumes.
Hot on his heels, Alejandro Lococo and Winfred Yu made it an international affair on the podium, with the Argentine bagging 1,173,000 and the Hong Kong player finishing the day with 1,118,000.

Among the all-star cast, Phil Ivey returns with 237,000, just shy of a starting stack. The Poker Hall of Famer and 11-time WSOP bracelet winner will look to add a sixth Triton title to his collection, which would put him in a share of fifth place on the all-time Triton titles list.
That task will be easier said than done, however, as Ivey is surrounded by a who's who of poker royalty on the leaderboard.
Tournament phenom Adrian Mateos (1,025,000), all-time money-list leader Bryn Kenney (768,000), four-time bracelet winners Artur Martirosian (730,000), Joao Simao (402,000) and Alex Foxen (354,000), Poker Hall of Famer Nick Schulman (281,000) and Poker Triple Crown winner Mike Watson (112,000) are just a few of the big names still in contention.
Play resumes at 12:00 p.m. local time, with the field returning to Level 11 at 4,000/8,000 blinds and an 8,000 big blind ante. The plan for the day is to play twelve more levels, with players getting a 15-minute break after every two levels and a longer 45-minute dinner break following Level 18.
Once those levels are complete, the survivors will bag their chips and advance to the third and final day of the event.
