Biao Ding open-shoved in the small blind, and after much deliberation, Seth Davies called for 6,500,000 with Q♥9♣ in the big blind.
The 5♦6♠8♦ flop gave Davies a gutshot, but neither the A♣ turn nor the 8♥ river provided further help. Davies said goodbye to the two remaining contenders, who were about to duel for the Invitational title.

In a limped pot to the Q♥10♣2♦ flop, Biao Ding checked from the small blind, and Seth Davies bet 400,000 in the big blind. Ding checked again on the 3♥ turn, but this time Davies checked back.
Ding tossed in 700,000 on the 5♠ river, which Davies looked up. Ding tabled 3♠2♠ for two pair, beating Davies' J♦10♦ to rake in another pot.
Joao Simao limped in from the small blind, and Biao Ding checked in the big blind. Simao bet the minimum of 400,000 on the 8♦Q♥2♣ flop, and Ding called.
The 7♦ turn saw Simao size up to 1,000,000. Ding flicked in another call, after which the 4♠ river completed the board. Simao completed his triple-barrel with a bet of 1,200,000, which Ding snapped off.
Simao could only show five-high with 5♦3♦, leaving Ding to take the pot with Q♠6♥ for top pair.
Joao Simao opened his button to 800,000 with A♠8♣. Biao Ding found A♣7♦ in the small blind and three-bet to 2,600,000, but Simao was not done yet and four-bet to 4,500,000.
Ding decided to halt the battle, and he mucked his cards to concede the pot.
Joao Simao raised to 800,000 in the cutoff and quickly called when Yang Wang shipped in 3,925,000 from the small blind.
