More than $8 million in first-place prize money will be handed out at the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II today, and it doesn't get any quieter once those two champions are crowned.
The record-breaking $200,000 Triton Invitational is down to its final 16 players, with a staggering $7.25 million awaiting the winner. Yang Wang leads the way with 7.31 million, followed by Hannes Jeschka on 5.84 million, while Emilien Pitavy, Teun Mulder, Thomas Boivin and Adrian Mateos are also among the biggest stacks.
The $50,000 NLH 7-Handed will also play down to a champion today, with $963,000 up top. Danny Tang leads its final 16 players with 1.62 million, narrowly ahead of Bryn Kenney on 1.47 million. Christoph Vogelsang, Matthew Wantman, Bernhard Binder, Ben Tollerene and Dan Dvoress are among those still in the hunt. The event drew 70 entries for a $3.5 million prize pool, with 11 players set to cash.
And just when you might think things couldn't get much bigger, the $100,000 NLH Main Event gets underway at 3 p.m. local time, adding yet another of Triton's marquee tournaments to the mix.
