One of the anonymous players pushed all-in for 8,500 and Mauricio Ferreira Pais called from one seat over in the cutoff. Dan Wilson then went over the top on the button for his last 36,500, which Ferreira Pais called after some consideration.

Denas Pranaitis had raised from under the gun and then faced resistance by Mauricio Ferreira Pais, who squeezed to 19,000 in the big blind. Pranaitis' reraise to 40,000 forced out potential other players as Ferreira Pais already pondered about his next move and opted to call.
Both checked the 
flop and Ferreira Pais check-folded the 
turn when Pranaitis bet 16,500. The table broke right after as Raj Verma was eliminated on another table to reduce the field to the final 56 players.
Stephen Kehoe was all-in for just 12,500 and in dire shape when he was looked up by Ken Taylor from one seat over.

The dominated pair found no help on the 
runout as the field was reduced further. No longer featured on the same table is Kalman Dohany either, as he was knocked out by Sam Grafton a few minutes ago.
While the start of the first flight was slow and steady, the field increased significantly after the early dinner break. Ultimately, a field of 191 entries and that has already created a prize pool of £183,360. Day 1b is expected to be far bigger and the turbo heat 1c then follows at 6pm local time to round up the trio of starting days.
In a heads-up pot to the 
turn, Shay Salih checked and then called a bet worth 22,000 by Robin Peebles. The fell on the river and Salih checked once more. Peebles moved all-in for around 45,000 and Salih snap-called to roll over the 
for two pair.
Peebles sent his cards into the muck and walk out of the tournament area.
