Upon completion of level eight, the 90 remaining players have been sent into a scheduled 15-minute break. So far, the field has already grown to 185 entries and the registration on Day 1a remains open for another two levels.
Included in the latest batch of casualties was also Tom Arovaara, who was among the bigger stacks for most of the last few levels. However, he lost the vast majority of his chips to Raul Lozano and departed just before the end of the level.
Parker Talbot had lost a ton of chips previously, apparently all to the same opponent according to the previous table chat. He then received a fresh pint of beer and was all-in moments later for 4,300 from under the gun. One player called and Antoine Saout then reraised to 12,000 for the third player to call.
On the 
flop, Saout bet 7,000 to receive a call and bet the 
turn again to force a fold.
