Level 5 : 200/500, 500 ante
Robin Peebles
Robin Peebles

Heads-up to the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} river, Patrick Beuter bet 5,900 and Robin Peebles then raised to 12,500. Beuter wasted little time before moving all-in and that sent Peebles into the tank. Ultimately, no call followed and Beuter increased his stack without showdown.

Duta Scores a Knockout

Level 5 : 200/500, 500 ante

Florian Duta only entered some time ago but he already chipped up and now scored a knockout to further build a stack.

Mohammed Alfaz Brepotro had defended out of the blinds and got it in after the {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} turn, flipping over the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a pair and open ender. Duta was ahead with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and the {q-Spades} on the river only improved Duta.

Jordon Enters and Busts

Level 5 : 200/500, 500 ante

In the very first hand after sitting down, Terry Jordon got his starting stack into the middle. The same also applied for Jordan Bamford, who was covered by a few big blinds only.

Jordan Bamford: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Terry Jordon: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop vaulted Bamford into a commanding lead and he only needed to avoid running cards. It was all over on the {4-Spades} turn and the {2-Diamonds} river was a formality. Bamford doubled for 28,200 to leave Jordon with fumes, which then went in preflop the next hand.

One of Jordon's callers was Dean Clay, who bet the {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop to isolate.

Terry Jordon: {4-Spades}{2-Spades}
Dean Clay: {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {q-Spades} turn and {k-Spades} river brought an end to the first entry of Jordon in a matter of minutes.

Kehoe Flipped Out by Yoshimichi

Level 5 : 200/500, 500 ante

One of the recently opened tables featured Conor O'Driscoll and he was in the small blind facing a button raise to 1,000 by Makoto Yoshimichi. O'Driscoll called and Stephen Kehoe then jammed out of the big blind for around 17,000. Yoshimichi isolated for more than that and O'Driscoll folded.

Stephen Kehoe: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Makoto Yoshimichi: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop improved Yoshimichi, who held onto the lead on the {5-Clubs} turn and {7-Spades} river runout.

Double Knockout for Navas Robles

Level 5 : 200/500, 500 ante

Three ways to the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, a betting war broke out in which three players got their chips into the middle. Dritan Arapi was involved from the small blind, Rafael Navas Robles was in the big blind and Rafael Lloris had been the initial raiser from under the gun.

Dritan Arapi: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Rafael Lloris: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Rafael Navas Robles: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The top two pair of Navas Robles held thanks to the {5-Spades} turn and {8-Hearts} river. Arapi as the shortest stack was eliminated and the 27,200 of Navas Robles also covered Lloris by a very small margin to score the double knockout.

Enriquez Eliminated by Lee

Level 5 : 200/500, 500 ante

One more hand was playing while everybody else was already on break. The completed board showed {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Hon Ban Lee bet 5,000. Steve Enriquez moved all-in for 19,100 and Lee went deep into the tank. Ultimately, eight minutes into the break, Lee called and Enriquez tabled the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a bluff, which Lee had beat with the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Last Bullet for Miller on Day 1a

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a heads-up flop of {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Alex Goulder from under the gun and Gary Miller on the button invested 6,500 each. They headed to the {6-Hearts} turn on which Goulder splashed in all his remaining chips for more than 18,000. Miller eventually called all-in for fewer than that and the cards were tabled.

Gary Miller: {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Alex Goulder: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The flush draw of Goulder bricked but the {9-Hearts} river gave him a superior pair to send Miller to the rail. With two entries down, he went straight to re-enter for the third and final bullet on Day 1a.
