Panagiotou Busts and Szymanski Chips Up to Over 1.6 Million

Emmanouil Asgoudakis raised to 26,000 from middle position and Mateusz Szymanski reraised to 75,000 from the button. Vasileios Panagiotou moved all in, Asgoudakis folded and Szymanski made the call. Two players flipped over their cards, with Panagiotou at risk.

Grosso Eliminated as Regonaschi Makes Tough River Call

Action was on the flop on a board of A♦4♠J♦. Sergio Grosso checked and Marco Regonaschi made a bet. Grosso reraised to 102,000 and Regonaschi called.

The turn came the 5♥ and Grosso bet 115,000, which Regonaschi called.

The river was the J♠ and Grosso put in a bet of 300,000, which by this point was the majority of Regonaschi's remaining stack. Regonaschi looked at his chips, weighed up his decision and then made the call.

Grosso showed Q♦Q♠ for two pair with his queens and the jacks on board. Regonaschi flipped over A♣7♠ for two pair with the jacks and his aces.

He cried out, "Yes!" as Grosso got up to leave the table.

Lesniewski Makes Trips Against Schneiders

Sebastian Schulze made an early position raise and was called by Felix Schneiders, as well as Marcin Lesniewski in the big blind. Three players went to the flop.

The flop came 8♣A♠A♥ and action checked to Schneiders, who bet 25,000. Lesniewski called and Schulze folded.

The turn was the 5♥ and both players checked. The river fell the 3♣ and Lesniewski checked. Schneiders bet out 65,000 and Lesniewski called.

Schneiders showed 9♦9♥ for two pair with his pocket nines and aces on board. Lesniewski flipped over A♦7♦ for trip aces and won the pot.

Docherty Makes Correct Call on River

Action was on the river on a board of 5♦K♥J♠4♣Q♥. Aristeidis Theodoridis had put out a large bet of 360,000 and it was David Docherty who had a tough call to make.

Docherty leaned back on his chair and put his hands on his head, seemingly anguised by the decision. Eventually, he made the call and flipped over A♠J♦ for a pair of jacks.

Theodoridis mucked his hand and players congratulation Docherty on making what was a thin yet correct call. Docherty now has over 1,500,000 in chips and is well positioned for a final table run as the field is reduced.

The board ran out J♦K♣2♣8♣4♦. The flop brought Bar a pair of jacks but also gave Roperto a flush draw and backdoor straight draw. The turn completed Roperto's flush.

Roperto yelled out in joy and gave the player to his left a high five as he scooped the chips for the double up. Bar was left with very little behind and is firmly in the danger zone as the final three tables approach.
