The flop came 7♣10♦4♥. Fitzgerald checked to Gilbert, who made it 8,000 to go. Fitzgerald quickly made the call. The turn was the 3♥ and Fitzgerald checked again. Gilbert bet 15,000 and Fitzgerald called.

The river came the A♦ and Fitzgerald insta-shoved all in. Gilbert folded his hand and Fitzgerald won a big pot to add to his stack.

It's official. After its return in 2023 following a 12-year hiatus, PokerStars has confirmed that The Big Game on Tour is back again this year, with more episodes to be filmed at the NAPT Las Vegas festival.

Ten episodes of the show were filmed last year, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Lex Veldhuis and Sam Grafton all taking part. The show features a lucky Loose Cannon who receives $50,000 and has to survive 150 hands playing $50/$100 with a table of poker pros, ambassadors, and celebrities.

PokerNews spoke with Big Game on Tour judge and commentator James Hartigan ahead of the show's return, and he says he's thrilled the show is back.

Oliver Hutchins open raised to 2,200, Georgina James called on the button, and Ciaran McCullagh called in the big blind.

The flop fell Q♥J♦4♣. McCullagh checked and Hutchins made a continuation bet for 2,500. James and McCullagh both called.

The turn was the 10♠. McCullagh checked again and Hutchins sized up to 9,800. James called again, as did McCullagh.

The river came the 7♣ and all three players checked to showdown. James showed J♣10♣ for two pair, McCullagh mucked and Hutchins had J♦Q♠ for a higher two pair, jacks and queens. He won the pot and chipped up to around 175,000.
