With around 1,000,000 chips already in the pot on a board of 2♠5♠8♣K♣, Nathan Slater fired out 375,000 and Justin Tsui called.

An A♦ landed on the river and Slater quickly checked to Tsui, who then put out a bet of 650,000. Slater propped himself up and rechecked his cards, then slid in a stack of chips and called.

Tsui showed 7♠7♥, but Slater had paired his ace on the river with A♥4♥ to win the pot.

Yannik Seabrook opened the hijack to 225,000 and Michael Casson called from the cutoff. Matthew Kerry then shoved from the blinds for around 1,000,000, which got Seabrook to fold, and Casson snap-called,

Casson had laid the trap and Kerry had found a hand that was worth jamming. Kerry lost one of his outs on the 3♣2♣8♣ flop as Casson picked up a flush draw, but he gained it back on the 8♠ turn. However, the 7♥ river was a brick, and Kerry was eliminated.

Philip Joyce made it 250,000 to go from the cutoff and Yannik Seabrook called in the big blind.

On the 5♠7♦8♣ flop, Seabrook shoved for 725,000, and Joyce quickly called.

Abraham Gozum opened from under the gun to 300,000 and Arian Kashani three-bet the button to 900,000. When it got back got back to Gozum, he shipped for over 2,700,000, and Kashani quickly called.

Kashani had been in this exact same situation earlier today and flopped a boat to seal the pot. This time it wasn't a flopped boat, but a turned one as the 2♦2♥7♠Q♥5♥ runout sent Gozum to the sidelines in tenth, one shy of the final table.

Philip Joyce opened from early position and Michael Casson called from middle position.

The two saw a flop of A♦J♠K♠ where both checked to the Q♣ turn, where Joyce checked and Casson bet 225,000. Joyce called,

A 2♣ on the river, Joyce checked, and Casson fired 440,000. After thinking for a while, Joyce made it 950,000, Casson then made it 1,600,000, Joyce shoved, and Casson called.

As expected, both players had the nuts as Joyce showed A♣10♥ and Casson flipped 10♦10♣, meaning they chopped the pot.
