Casson Drills the River to Double Through Slater

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Michael Casson
Michael Casson

Michael Casson opened to 240,000 from early position and Nathan Slater three-bet the small blind to 810,000. With the action back on Casson, he ripped in his stack of almost 3,000,000 into the middle, and Slater snap-called.

Michael Casson: AK All in
Nathan Slater: QQ

A classic coinflip to kick off the final table and it was advantage Slater after the 792 flop. The 3 turn left Casson one card away from elimination, but the A on the river saved him from the rail and doubled him up.

Daniel Rudd Eliminated in 9th Place (£18,780)

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Daniel Rudd
Daniel Rudd

Daniel Rudd opened the button to 240,000 and Philip Joyce three-bet to 800,000 out of the small blind. Once the big blind folded, Rudd moved all in for almost 2,600,000, and Joyce quickly called.

Daniel Rudd: A2 All in
Philip Joyce: AK

Rudd had walked right into it, but there was still a board to run where he could improve. Although, not much help arrived on the 763 flop or the 5 turn. A four would result in a chop, but the 5 river meant Rudd was the first casualty of the final table.

Seabrook Makes the Right Call Against Kashani

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Christopher Brammer opened the button to 250,000 with A2 and Yannik Seabrook called from the small blind. Arian Kashani also came along from the big blind.

The three saw a flop of 9A7, which was checked around to the J turn, where all three checked again to the 5 river. Seabrook checked, then Kashani fired 365,000. Brammer folded, and Seabrook thought for a few moments before he called.

Kashani showed 63 for a bluff, and Seabrook's A6 was good with a pair of aces.

Not So Lucky Ladies for Joyce, Slater Doubles

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Nathan Slater
Nathan Slater

Nathan Slater made it 310,000 from the button and Philip Joyce three-bet the small blind to 875,000. When it got back to Slater, he shoved for 2,675,000, and Joyce rechecked his cards before he quickly called.

Nathan Slater: A9 All in
Philip Joyce: QQ

Slater went from miles behind to miles ahead after the 8JA flop, as he paired his ace. A 6 on the turn did give Joyce a flush draw, but the 3 river was a brick, which meant Slater survived.

They saw a flop of 944 where Kashani continued with a bet of 275,000, which Slater called.

A 2 landed on the turn and Kashani sized up with a bet of 800,000, which was enough to forced a fold out of Slater.

Seabrook was marginally ahead and had to sweat the board as Kashani's hand was live. However, the 6310JQ runout was clean for Seabrook, who doubled up.
