All-In Shootout Winner Mia Flops a Flush and Folds the River

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Muhamed Mia
Muhamed Mia

On an all-spade board of J8Q2 with around 15,000 chips in the pot, Ashleigh Naisbitt checked it over to Vilnis Geidans, who fired 6,000. Muhamed Mia called, and Naisbitt folded.

A 5 filled out the board and Geidans reached for chips and threw 13,000 into the pot. Mia thought for some time before he eventually folded, and showed 97 for a flopped flush as he did.

Geidans wasn't as generous and didn't show his cards as he raked in the pot.

Mia won a PowerPath Silver Pass, worth $2,500, in an All-In Shootout during Day 1c yesterday, which he can redeem to play in any PokerStars live event around the world or online.

Dumitra Correctly Calls Off With Ace-High

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With around 13,000 chips already in the middle on a board of 2433, Dean Clay fired out a bet of 10,000, which Valentin Dumitra called.

A 2 double-paired the board on the river and Clay shoved. Dumitra had exactly 25,000 behind and swiftly called.

Clay showed 76 for a busted combo draw, but Dumitra had the winner with A10 for ace-high!

Chen Turns a Straight to Crush Dawson's Top Set

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With around 10,000 chips in the middle on a board of J1057, David Dawson bet 7,000 and Lin Chen shover for almost 22,000. Dawson didn't need to think for too long before he announced a call.

Lin Chen: 98 All in
David Dawson: JJ

Chen had turned the nuts and needed to fade the board pairing on the river to double up, as Dawson had top set. The K river was clean for Chen, who earned a stack of around 55,000, as Chen dropped to 10,000.

Kashani Puts on His Cape, Busts Lightbourne With Hero Call

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Arian Kashani
Arian Kashani

Arian Kashani recalled a hand that he played with Iaron Lightbourne.

A player opened from middle position to 2,000 and the Lightboure three-bet to 5,600 from the cutoff before Kashani four-bet the button to 13,500. Middle position folded, and Lightbourne called.

On the 1074 flop, Lightbourne check-called a bet of 3,800 from Kashani to the 9 turn, which went check-check.

When the 3 filled out the board on the river, Lightbourne shoved for around 26,000, which sent Kashani into the tank. A few minutes passed before Lightbourne decided to call the clock, and Kashani was given an extra minute to act before his hand would be declared dead.

As the countdown hit one second, Kashani tossed in the call.

Lightbourne showed AxQx, and Kashani's AxKx was good for the pot.

Give that man a cape!

Flashback: Vincent Meli Wins 2023 UKIPT Nottingham Main Event

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Last year in the PokerStars UKIPT Nottingham Main Event at Dusk Till Dawn, Vincent Meli of France emerged as the champion following a heads-up deal against Patrice Brandt.

A total of 1,227 entries were made across five starting flights, which generated a prize pool of £1,177,920. Of those, 185 players made it through to Day 2 to lock up the £1,650 min-cash. Ten players returned on Day 3 to compete for the title.

As soon as the tournament reached the final two players, a deal was made. Brandt came into the heads-up as chip leader and so took slightly more from the chop. The pair decided to leave £2,000 behind to play for, as well as the coveted PokerStars trophy.

Kamber's Ladies Come Out on Top in Three-Way All-In

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Mor Kamber
Mor Kamber

A three-way all-in play just played out at Table #65, which left Mor Kamber with a chunk of chips.

Kamber had 2,500 inf front of her from middle position and Mazin Karkotli had shipped around 23,000 from the cutoff. Steven Lewzey cold-called from the button, then Kamber shoved for around 75,000. Lewzey had over 30,000 behind and after a long time in the tank, he decided to put them at risk.

Mazin Karkotli: 66 All in
Steven Lewzey: 1010 All in
Mor Kamber: QQ

Kamber had both of her opponents crushed and stayed in the lead after the 839 flop. It was all over by the time the turn was dealt, as the Q gave Kamber an unbeatable set. A meaningless K dropped on the river, and Kamber raked in the huge pot.

Some of the table were discussing among themselves that Lewzey should have folded, and he didn't seem too thrilled about it.

"Thanks for the rubdown, guys," said Lewzey.

"Next time play better, and you will win," replied one of the table.

"Oh, thanks," were Lewzey's parting words as he and Karkotli were eliminated.
