Downdall's Four is Good

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Muhamed Mia made it 2,500 to go from the hijack and Longmao Fan called in the cutoff. Ionut Arvatu called from the button and Max Downdall completed from the big blind.

The four went to a flop of 1028, which checked around to the 4 turn. It checked to Arvatu, who fired 3,200, and only Downdall called.

When the 7 completed the runout, both players checked to showdown and with Downdall to show first, he didn't seem too confident. Downdall thought it was his opponent's turn to show, but he hesitantly flipped over A4 for a pair of fours. Arvatu couldn't beat that and said 'you win' to his tablemate.

Cowboys Help Day to a Double-Up

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Chris Day opened to 2,400 from early position and Mingzhe Liu three-bet to 6,000 from the next seat. Mario Trattou called on the button, and Day shoved for almost 36,000. Liu also shoved for 95,000, which got a reluctant fold out of Trattou.

Chris Day: KK All in
Mingzhe Liu: 1010

Day was well in the lead with his pocket kings, and stayed there after the 845 flop. A K on the turn sealed the deal for Day as he improved to an unbeatable set. An inconsequential 8 hit the river, and Day was pushed the pot.
