Adeniya Gets Shown a Bluff

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

With a couple of limpers already in the pot, Full Tilt Poker Ambassador Martins Adeniya bumped up the price to 400 from the cut-off.

The button called and while the blinds got out of the way, the limpers, including Hakon Johansen from Norway, called.

The flop of {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} was checked to Adeniya who bet 675. Johansen was the only caller and the turn came the {3-Diamonds}. Both players checked. The river was the {3-Spades} which prompted Johansen to lead for 2,000.

Adeniya glanced up at his opponent who stared him down unflinchingly. Adeniya toyed with his chips and contemplated his next move. The Norwegians gaze didn’t move, stock still, staring Adeniya down.

It didn’t take too long for Adeniya to fold, and as soon as he did Johansen proudly showed the {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Johansen showed that he’s not afraid of anyone, he’s certainly come to play.
