Kamel Rachedi opened to 160,000 from under the gun. Manuel Lopez made it 510,000 from the small blind before Ghali Hsissen jammed for around 1,200,000 from the big blind. Rachedi folded before Lopez called.
Ghali Hsissen: 9x9x
Manuel Lopez: KxKx
Hsissen left his seat after Lopez made a set on the K♥10♥2♦ flop, and then the GG's were extended after the A♠5♦ turn and river.
Samir Sebii raised to 275,000 from the cutoff. Ahmed Blili and Hassan Atigh called from the button and big blind.
Sebii continued for 250,000 on the 8♦7♣3♥ flop, and was called in both spots.
He fired out another 350,000 on the 5♣ turn, and after some thinking time, Blili jammed for 1,720,000. Atigh folded, while Sebii went deep into the tank.
Sebii mulled over his options for several minutes before announcing call, Blili didn't seem best pleased.
Ahmed Blili: 9♠9♥
Samir Sebii: A♣K♠
Blili was surprised to see he was ahead, while there were some gasps from the table when Sebii showed his hand.
The 5♠ river was clean for Blili and he joined the big stacks.
Benjamin Hammann opened to 200,000 from the cutoff before Quentin Laugt made it 700,000 from the big blind. Hammann responded bu four-bet jamming for 2,680,000. After getting a count from the dealer, Laught called.
Benjamin Hammann: K♣Q♥
Quentin Laugt: A♥K♠
Laugt was in prime position to streghten his chip lead, and that's what happened after Hammann's king-queen failed to improve on the 10♣9♦3♠2♥7♣ runout.
Patrick Rudau moved all-in for 765,000 from the hijack, and Malik Corbin called from the big blind.
Patrick Rudau: A♥9♦
Malik Corbin: 7♠3♠
Rudau's ace was still ahead after the 10♣8♣6♣ flop, but the 3♥ turn gave Malik a pair to take the lead. The 9♣ river gave Rudau a better pair but Corbin improved to a straight for the knockout.
Ahmed Blili opened to 220,000 from under the gun and snap-called when Samir Sebii jammed from the big blind for 1,070,000.
Samir Sebii: A♠10♦
Ahmed Blili: K♠K♣
The 8♥4♦3♦ flop left Sebii drawing to his ace, but the K♦ turn gave him outs to the flush. However, the 4♣ river filled Balili up and he booked the bust out to take his stack over 8,500,000.
Tristan Forge opened to 210,000 from the hijack, before Ahmed Blili jammed as the big stack from the small blind. Marc Rousseau called off his 980,000 stack from the big blind, which prompted forge to ditch his 10♣10♦.
Marc Rousseau: A♦A♣
Ahmed Blili: J♦8♦
Rousseau was the huge favorite to double, but Blili picked up some immediate outs after the 9♠8♥2♣ flop. The J♣ turn gave the big stack two pair to take the lead. Rousseau found no help on the 10♠ river and was eliminated in 11th place.
Manuel Lopez raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Malik Corbin defended his big blind.
Fireworks ignited on the Q♣6♥5♠ flop, with Corbin moving all-in after Lopez through out a continuation bet. Lopez had 2,400,000 total and quickly called for his tournament life.
Manuel Lopez: A♥A♣
Malik Corbin: 6♣5♣
Corbin flopped two pair to leapfrog the aces, and the final table looked destined to happen after the 7♣ turn. However, the Q♥ appeared on the river to give Lopez a better two pair to survive.
Belghiti Smail raised to 250,000 from the button and called when Malik Corbin shoved for around 1,550,000 from the big blind.
Malik Corbin: Kx10x
Belghiti Smail: A♦9♣
The 8♦7♣5♣ flop was of no help to the short stack, and neither was the Q♦ turn. The J♠ river would be the last card Malik saw, and his elimination marked the end of the final table bubble.
