Michaud Takes Out Belgazi

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Louis Michaud opened to 1,000 from under the gun and Nabil Hajjoubi called from the next seat over. Ayoub Belghazi three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind and was called by both players.

Belghazi continued for 3,000 on the K72 flop, and Michaud was the only caller. Michaud then called a bet on the 2 turn to bring in the 9 river.

Belghazi fired out another 12,000, leaving around 28,000 behind. Michaud put his opponent all-in, and after some thinking time Belghazi called for his tournament life.

Michaud rivered nines full of deuces with his 99, putting a bad beat on Belgazi's AK.

Messouat Not Sure of All-In Rule

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Action was caught on the J4Q5 board, with around 17,000 in the middle.

Zahir Messouat bet 6,500 before Mitch jammed for 10,000.

Messouat was adamant that Mitch could not move all-in as his 10,000 was not enough to make a raise. This confused the table, and the dealer so much so that the floor had to explain that Mitch's bet was legal.

Messouat still appeared confused by the ruling but put in the calling chips.

Mitch: KJAll in
Zahir Messouat: 76

Mitch had a pair of jacks to be ahead, and he doubled up after the 10 river.

It was confusing behaviour from Messouat as he has almost $180,000 in earnings.
