Pengelly Folds After Flopping Straight

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante

On a board of {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs}, Will Pengelly bet 50,000 from the button and Matthew Bray called in the big blind. Bray came out betting big with 150,000 when the {q-Diamonds} river changed the board in a big way.

"I flopped a straight," Pengelly declared.

After a couple of minutes in the tank, Pengelly mucked {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Ricky Green Over Bozkurt

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante

We found Ekrem Bozkurt, who had entered the pot in the hijack, calling a raise to 100,000 from Ricky Green on the button. Bozkurt check-called 100,000 more on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop and checked the {6-Spades}. Green slid 200,000 in, and after some thought, Bozkurt folded.

Three-Way All-In Results in Sowell's Elimination

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante

Patrick Eskandar shoved all in for 89,000 from under the gun which was followed by another all in from Greg White on his left. Jeff Sowell was on the button and also piled in the rest of his 300,000 chips.

Patrick Eskandar: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Greg White: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Jeff Sowell: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and both White and Eskandar nailed both of the remaining kings in the deck to chop up the main pot. White also took down the side pot and he barely had Sowell covered, sending him to the payout desk in 29th place.

Johnny Deas
Johnny Deas

Three players limped into Hien Tran's small blind, and he made it 140,000. Johnny Deas, who led the cadre of limpers from middle position, shoved all in. Action folded back to Tran and he called it off for about 800,000.

Hien Tran: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Johnny Deas: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The flip went to Deas as the board ran out dead: {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. He pumped his fist and collected Tran's heathy stack.

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante

Seneca Easley shipped all in for 150,000 in middle position and Mike Rogers shoved all in over the top in the small blind. Men Nguyen looked down at his cards in the big blind and stuck in the last of his 88,000.

Men Nguyen: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Mike Rogers: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Seneca Easley: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Nguyen was in the lead and in a great position to triple up. The board ran out {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Nguyen's pocket jacks held on for the win. The side pot was won by Rogers who eliminated Easley in the process.
