Gamble Fires Two

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Nathan Gamble raised to 700 from under the gun and action folded around to the hijack, who called. Ryan Hardin also called from the cutoff, as did the big blind, and the four saw a flop of {9-Spades}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The big blind checked, and Gamble fired a continuation-bet of 2,100. The hijack called and both Hardin and the big blind folded.

"Heads up," said the dealer as the turn came {4-Hearts}. Gamble bet another 7,000 and the hijack quickly folded.

Hudson Wins Six-Way Dance

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Kami Hudson
Kami Hudson

Six players invested 1,000 to see a {5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} flop together, and action checked over to Kami Hudson in middle position, who bet 2,100. Only the original raiser, sitting just to Hudson's right, made the call.

The {8-Hearts} fell on the turn, and Hudson's opponent checked again. Hudson bet 3,300, and after a moment in the tank, her opponent gave it up.

Henson Check-Raises Flop

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Ray Henson was in the small blind and called a raise to 1,100 from the player in the hijack. The two went heads up to a flop of {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Henson checked. The hijack made a continuation-bet of 1,500 and Henson threw out a check-raise, announcing 4,000.

His opponent thought for a few moments, looking back at his cards before sending them across the felt into the muck.

Clark Wins One Against Jewell

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

James Jewell had raised from the button, having a 1,000-chip in front of him as action was on Aaron Clark in the small blind. Clark three-bet to 2,300 and Jewell called.

The flop fell {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Clark checked. Jewell made a bet of 3,000, which was called by Clark. The turn then came {7-Diamonds} and both players checked. Action again checked through the river {10-Spades}.

Upon checking back, Jewell tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, having hit a pair of tens on the river. Clark showed {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and took down the pot.

Greenblatt Gets Outkicked

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Alex Greenblatt
Alex Greenblatt

On an {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts} board, Alex Greenblatt had a bet of 4,000 out in front of him from the button, and Bobby Payne had raised to 9,000 in middle position. Greenblatt three-bet jammed for around 16,000, and Payne called.

Alex Greenblatt: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Bobby Payne: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Greenblatt's kicker problem wouldn't get resolved on the {j-Diamonds} river, and he headed back to the cage to re-enter.

Ho Can't Best Big Slick

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Maria Ho
Maria Ho

WinStar World Ambassador Maria Ho, who just recently took her seat into today's Day 1a flight, checked a {6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop over to an opponent in middle position, who bet 600 into a pot of around 1,500. Ho made the call.

Both players checked throught the {q-Spades} turn, and Ho checked a third time on the {8-Clubs} river, then called a bet of 1,100 from her opponent, only to muck after her opponent tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.
