The same action repeated on the 2♠ turn albeit for 17,000 and Ausmus then checked the Q♣ river. Betto bet and Ausmus gave up the pot.
Aria Shahi jammed a stack of around 13,000 and Terence Kluczkowski re-shoved a bigger stack to get things heads-up.

Only one table over from his wife Kristen Foxen, Alex Foxen has been busy building an above-average stack before the dinner break. In the latest hand, he overbet the 7♥5♦4♠3♥6♠ river against Michael Farrow and the latter eventually check-folded in the cutoff.
Farrow grinned while he exposed the 7♣6♣ as he was playing the board.
Michael Giardina raised to 2,500 and Martin Kabrhel called from the cutoff. Isaac Haxton shoved for 36,500 before Giardina responded with one of his own for 95,600. Kabrhel said several words before he finally got out of the way and action was heads up with Haxton at risk.

The board ran out A♣J♥2♥5♦8♦ and Giardina flopped a set of aces to knock Haxton out of the tournament.
According to the tournament information screens, a field of 597 entries has been generated so far with some 2,527 total entries up until now. There are around 418 players remaining early in level eight and some early casualties are listed below.

Cai continued for 2,500 on the 9♦3♣A♠ flop and only Martin called. Cai then checked on the 4♠ turn and Martin checked back. Cai checked once more on the 5♣ river and Martin checked back.
Cai showed queen-high with Q♣10♣ as Martin showed 8♠8♦ to win the pot with a pair of eights.
