Smiljkovic Takes a Lot From Bohdanov

Renat Bohdanov raised to 800,000 from the button and Daniel Smiljkovic called from the big blind. The flop was 8♥A♣4♠ and Smiljkovic checked. Bohdanov bet 1,600,000 and Smiljkovic called to see 2♣ on the turn.

Smiljkovic check-called again on the turn, this time for 4,100,000, and the river was 8♠.

For a third time, Smiljkovic checked and Bohdanov went into the tank. After he used one time bank he announced 11,000,000 — enough to put Smiljkovic all in. Smiljkovic called without much hesitation and turned over A♠3♠ for a pair of aces. Bohdanov showed the dusty K♣7♣ and send most of his chips over to the German.

Mateos checked once more on the 6♣ river and Salas checked back. Mateos showed A♥2♥ for a pair of deuces, but it was no good against the 7♠7♦ of the 2020 Main Event champion.
