Kim on the Wrong End of Boat Over Boat Cooler

Level 3 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Brian Kim
Brian Kim

Two players saw the 1024 flop and Brian Kim checked it over from middle position to Thiago Crema in the hijack who fired 10,000 into the pot of about 40,000. Kim took a few moments before putting in a check-raise to 43,000 and Crema called.

The A hit the turn, and Kim didn't slow down, tossing 110,000 across the line. Crema called once again.

The 4 paired the board on the river and Brian slid 375,000 across the line, putting Crema to the test for his last 373,000. Crema made the call to see Kim's full house as he tabled 22. However, it was no good as Crema rolled 1010 for tens full of fours to score a massive double.

Michel Dattani opened from the cutoff and Alex Keating called on the button.

On the KJ8 flop, Dattani checked to Keating who bet 40,000 and Dattani put in the call.

The 6 turn checked through to the 9 river which saw Dattani lead for 90,000. Keating thought it over for a while, asking questions and staring at Dattani before he decided to stick in the call.

Michel Dattani: AQ
Alex Keating: A9

Keating's rivered third pair was good enough as Dattani was bluffing with a missed gutshot.

"Don't bluff bro...this is live poker," joked tablemate Anatoly Filatov as Keating scooped the pot.
