Level 19 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Rodrigo Sirichuk: QQAll in
Pascal Lefrancois: AK

It was a classic coin flip and the flop of K99 put Lefrancois in the lead with a pair of kings. There was no help for Sirichuk on the 8, 5 runout as he headed to the payout desk.

Level 19 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel moved all in for 1.96 million from the button and Marcelo Aziz called from the big blind.

Erik Seidel: 55 All in
Marcelo Aziz: AK

It was a flip and Seidel was looking to hold to stay alive. The Poker Hall of Famer, who won a bracelet at last year’s WSOP Paradise, made it through the 610Q flop as well as the 2 turn, but the A on the river was a dagger through his heart.

Seidel was eliminated in 161st place for $67,300 while Aziz chipped up to 10.7 million.

Health > Wealth: Texas Mike Questions Stamina After “4-Bet Jam Nuclear Punt” in $100K

Level 19 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

What is a player to do when they love tournament poker, their mind allows them to compete against the best of the best, but their body doesn’t want to cooperate? That’s a question “Texas” Mike Moncek, who suffers from a heart condition, asked himself Wednesday night after playing in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise Event #7: $100,000 Triton Main Event.

The tournament, which is being live reported by PokerNews, attracted 182 entrants and offered up an $18,200,000 prize pool. On Day 2, a little over 40 players remained when Texas Mike, in his own words, “punted.”

Peters Can't Get Anything Going

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

The action folded around to Tomas Telek in the small blind who just limped in. David Peters was in the big blind with around 1,500,000 after coming into the day as one of the bigger stacks from the online portion of the event. Peters shoved his stack into the middle and was met with a snap-call from Telek.

David Peters: K10All in
Tomas Telek: A8

Neither player was able to connect on the 532J5 runout and the ace-high from Telek was good enough to send Peters to the rail.

Klodnicki Takes from Keating

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Alex Keating had 1,275,000 across the line from the small blind and was faced with another raise of 3,000,000 from Chris Klodnicki in the cutoff. After giving it some thought, he made the call.

The dealer fanned the K64 flop, and Keating check-folded to a bet of 1,500,000.

"Now you're chip leader," Keating said with a chuckle as the dealer sent the pot the other way.
