Negreanu Has Been Activated
Daniel Negreanu has played almost every hand so far — "Let's just agree to give him all the chips!" joked Nitis Udornpim — including when Jareth East raised to 25,000 on the button and Negreanu three-bet to 75,000 in the big blind.
"You're going to fold, so just fold!" Negreanu said as he smacked the table. East did fold and both players showed an ace.
The next hand, Seth Davies opened on the button and Negreanu and Weiran Pu called in the blinds.
Action checked to Davies on the flop of 10♣6♥8♣ and he continued for 35,000. Negreanu check-raised to 105,000 and only Davies called. Both players then checked on the A♠ turn and 6♠ river before Davies turned over K♠10♥ for a pair of tens.
"You were behind!" Negreanu said as he showed Q♣9♣ for a busted combo draw. He proceeded to pull up out his phone to look up his equity on the flop, joking that he was "going to use RTA at the table."
