In his latest bustout, Negreanu found himself in a three-way all in for his remaining stack of around 140,000 against Casey Hatmaker and another player.

Bubble Bursts in Event #9: $100,000 Triton Main Event

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Over in Event #9: $100,000 Triton Main Event, Stephen Chidwick raised to 90,00 from middle position. When it folded to Nick Schulman in the big blind, he three-bet all in for his stack of 850,000, which Chidwick called, slightly covering Schulman to put him at risk.

Nick Schulman: AQ All in
Stephen Chidwick: AK

Schulman was dominated by Chidwick, and was in danger of busting on the stone bubble. The flop came 855 giving Schulman chop outs. However, the 7 turn, and 9 river was no help for Schulman, eliminating him on the stone bubble, and guaranteeing the other 39 players a spot in the money.

Third Time’s a Charm? Negreanu is Now in for $75k on Day 1a of $25k WSOP Super Main Event

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu’s Thursday vlog is going to be a must-watch. The poker superstar has had a rough start to the $25,000 buy-in WSOP Super Main Event is already on his third bullet in just the first starting flight, meaning he is currently in for $75,000.

The seven-time bracelet winner and Poker Hall of Famer lasted just ten minutes on his first bullet, and he didn't have any more luck with the second.

After a short time battling at a table that included fellow American pro Michael Wang, Negreanu moved across the room to a table with two-time bracelet winner Bryce Yockey, who Negreanu beat heads-up for his 2024 Poker Players Championship title. The table change would prove fatal.

As recounted to PokerNews, Negreanu open-jammed a stack of around 207,000 — good for about 15 big blinds — only to run into the pocket aces of Yockey. A clean runout kept Yockey's aces ahead as Negreanu was eliminated for the second time of the day.

But Negreanu isn't giving up. He earlier remarked "I'm gonna get chips in this one way or another" and is back on a third bullet at a table that includes his friend Jeff Gross and fellow content creator Jeff Boski.
