Aleksandr Kirichenko raised to 13,000 in early position, making the call after Georgios Sotiropoulos three-bet to 42,000 in the hijack.
Kirichenko checked the 10♦2♦J♣ flop, and Sotiropoulos continued for 75,000. Kirichenko took some time before tossing out a raise to 175,000.
Sotiropoulos answered by moving all in, and Kirichenko made the call.
Aleksandr Kirichenko: K♦J♦
Georgios Sotiropoulos: Q♠Q♥
Kirichenko's pair and diamond draw missed the 10♣ turn and 10♠ river, as Sotiropoulos improved to a full house. The stacks were counted, and Kirichenko was covered by less than 20,000 chips to confirm his elimination.
After getting a fresh starting stack, Stephen Chidwick three-bet an open from Affif Prado by making it 60,000 in the big blind. Prado added to his original bet of 12,000, making the call in the cutoff.
Chidwick led out for 40,000 on the 3♠Q♣3♥ flop, adding new chips to his stack as Prado folded.
Sergio Aido opened to 8,000 from the cutoff, and Daniel Zack stuck in a call from the small blind. Lautaro Guerra defended his big blind, and the 2♠J♠6♠ flop produced three checks.
Zack led out for 11,000 on the 2♦ turn, with Guerra calling and Aido getting out of the way.
The 3♥ river led to a check from Zack, and Guerra took some time before betting 28,000. Zack let his hand go, and Guerra added to his stack before break.
Action was heads up to the 5♥9♦Q♦5♠ turn, with around 200,000 already in the middle.
Nenad Medic checked in the small blind, and Mike Watson fired a bet of 50,000 from under the gun. Medic used a time bank card before making the call.
Another check from Medic followed the K♠ river, and Watson used a time bank card of his own before sliding forward 325,000, asking for all of Medic's stack.
The 30-second clock elapsed once again before Medic opted to fold, sliding his cards and one last time card forward while Watson picked up the pot.
Quirin Heinz opened to 6,000 in early position and Matheus Machado three-bet to 28,000. Heinz called.
Heinz checked on the flop of 10x6♣8x, and Machado bet 26,000. Heinz called. Both players then checked on the 3♠ turn.
Heinz checked once more on the Q♥ river, and Machado bet 110,000. Heinz used a time bank and called. Machado could only show ace-high with A♠K♥, while Heinz showed J♣10♣ to win the pot with a pair of tens.
At the same table, Nick Palma lamented about a previously played hand.
"I forgot the cardinal rule: never bluff a fish. What am I doing?"
If the second starting flight is anything like the first, there will be a massive field on Day 1b of Event #11: $25,000 Super Main Event at the World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOPP) in the Bahamas.
There were 869 runners in yesterday's flight, putting the event more than a third of the way toward its record-setting $60 million guaranteed prize pool. No one contributed more than GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu, who fired a stunning six bullets in the opening flight. He survived that sixth bullet, but he could be back today to try to build an even bigger stack.

Defending champion Yinan Zhou, who last year won the $50 million guaranteed Super Main Event for $6,000,000 by besting a final table that included Michael Addamo and Justin Bonomo, could also be in the Day 1b field after failing to advance through the first flight in which Leonardo Song-Carrillo bagged the chip lead with 4,485,000.
