Tamasauskas Wins a Flip Against Asipauskas

Lou Garza opened to 24,000 in middle position, and Vladas Tamasauskas bumped it up to 76,000 in the cutoff. Action folded to Rokas Asipauskas in the big blind, who used a time bank card before four-betting to 180,000.

Garza got out of the way, and Tamasauskas announced all in. As the dealer began to count his stack, Asipauskas made the call.

Tamasauskas was flipping for his tournament life, and held through the J♦6♠J♣6♦3♠ board to double and leave Asipauskas short.

Another pair of checks followed the 6♦ river, and Abernathy tabled A♦J♦ for two pair with a jack kicker. Kerber could only smile as he flipped over A♠10♣, seeing the pot shipped to his right.

Mustapha Kanit opened to 25,000 on the button and Alisson Piekazewicz three-bet to 90,000 in the small blind. Kanit claled.

Piekazewicz bet 50,000 on the flop of 5♥K♠J♥ and Kanit called. Piekazewicz then sized up to 120,000 on the A♦ turn and Kanit again called. Piekazewicz pulled the trigger with a bet of 325,000 on the A♠ river and Kanit called.

Piekazewicz could only show a busted flush draw with 7♥6♥, while Kanit tabled A♣10♠ for trip aces before playfully razzing his Brazilian opponent.

"You have the best offense, we have the best defense. Together, we can win the World Cup!"

Punsri checked again on the Q♠ turn, and Zegal sized up to 95,000. Punsri called. Punsri checked once more on the 9♦ river, and Zegal put him to the test by betting 240,000. Punsri laid it down.

Schumacher was in front with aces, but it was short-lived as the Q♦ turn gave Yanovsky two pair before the 3♣ river confirmed Schumacher's elimination.

"I'm running hot!" Yanovsky cheered after cracking aces. "Running muy fuego!"

Action was three-handed on the 10♥7♦9♦ flop, and Espen Jorstad checked from the big blind. Vladas Tamasauskas followed with a check in middle position, and Rokas Asipauskas slid out a bet of 27,000 on the button.

Jorstad was the only caller to the 4♦ turn, and led out for 32,000. Asipauskas took a moment before letting his hand go, and Jorstad collected the chips.
