Wilson Costs Depaulo the Pot

Level 14 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Ryan Depaulo opened to 80,000 from under the gun, which was called by James Caputo on his left and the big blind Brandon Wilson.

After the flop came K55, all three players checked to the 8 on the turn. Wilson checked, and Depaulo bet out 100,000, which both Caputo and Wilson called.

The river was the J. Both Wilson and Depaulo checked to Caputo, who bet out 500,000. Wilson took some time before making the call for his stack of 205,000, which forced Depaulo to fold.

Wilson turned over 22 for just a pair of deuces, while Caputo turned over J7, pairing his jack to eliminate Wilson.

After the hand, Depaulo said, "He cost himself his tournament and me the pot."
