The flop came J52 and Mota check-called 15,000. The pair checked the 2 turn. The river was the 10 and Mota bet 75,000 and D'Alessandro quickly folded.

"It's always clubs," said Cong Pham. "The last few flops have all been clubs."

Big Slick Good for Boivin

Thomas Boivin opened to 5,500 from the hijack, and David Coleman made the call in the cutoff. Teun Mulder slid in a call from the big blind, and the 64A flop saw all three players check.

Another round of checks followed the 7 turn, and the dealer flipped over the 10 river. Mulder checked to Boivin, who fired a bet of 15,000.

Coleman folded, while Mulder made the call. Boivin showed down AK, taking down the pot with top pair as Mulder mucked.

Aido Takes from Ponakovs

Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 5,000 from the hijack, and Sergio Aido defended his big blind to see the 767 flop.

Aido checked to Ponakovs, who continued for 3,500. After taking some time, Aido check-raised to 12,000. That produced a quick fold from Ponakovs, and Aido took down the pot.

Rapaski "Having Fun" in $250k Invitational

On a flop of 1083 Neehar Banerji and Ryan Rapaski got it in, with Rapaski all-in and at risk for his last 256,500.

Banerji had flopped top two, but Rapaski wasn't out of it yet as he turned a J for top pair and rivered his straight with the 9.

"These $250k all-ins are fun," he said to the table. "Gets the dopamine flowing!"

Mota Takes From D'Alessandro

Rafael Mota raised to 5,000 and David D'Alessandro three-bet from the next position to 10,000. It folded back to Mota who four-bet to 45,000 and D'Alessandro called.

The flop came 932 and Mota continued for 32,000. D'Alessandro called.

The turn was the 2 and Mota bet 85,000, only this time D'Alessandro folded.

Boivin Keeps Betting

Thomas Boivin opened to 5,000 from under the gun, with Juan Pardo calling in the small blind and Daniel Dvoress coming along in the big blind.

Pardo and Dvoress checked the 410A flop, and Boivin continued for 5,000. Both opponents called, checking again on the 6 turn.

Boivin slid out a bet of 25,000, earning folds from Pardo and Dvoress to take the pot.

At a nearby table, Christoph Vogelsang raised to 4,500 in the cutoff before Alex Foxen three-bet to 22,500 from the small blind. After taking almost all of the 30-second clock, Vogelsang slid his cards into the muck.
