WSOP Paradise Welcomes Day 1 of $100,000 Triton No-Limit Hold'em Main Event

The penultimate Triton Poker high roller of the World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOPP) gets underway today as the $100,000 Triton NLH Main Event returns to Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas at 3 p.m. local time.

The partnership between Triton and the WSOP has firmly established this stop as one of the most important on the end-of-year calendar, and the field once again looks set to include many of the biggest names in the game.

Last year's edition saw Alex Foxen triumph over a field of 182 of the game's elite, defeating Joao Vieira in a short-lived heads-up duel.

“It’s up there with my favorite poker moments, for sure. To get the Triton Series trophy and WSOP bracelet at the same time, it’s unreal,” Foxen told PokerNews after securing the title, third bracelet, and $3,850,000 top prize.

With another big turnout expected this week, the 2025 champion will have to make his way through a similarly world-class lineup to claim the title.

Players begin with a 250,000 stack and will play ten 50-minute levels on Day 1. Breaks arrive every two levels, and late registration remains open until the start of Day 2 (1 p.m. on December 10), with unlimited reentries available until then.

Day 2 will play down to the final table, with the winner set to be crowned on Thursday, December 11.

Shot clocks will be in use from the start. Players receive 12 time banks upon registration, with 20 seconds allowed preflop, 25 seconds on the flop, and 30 seconds on the turn and river.
