Cornel Climbing

Cornel Andrew Cimpan
Cornel Andrew Cimpan
Cornel Andrew Cimpan just took down another small pot to climb a little bit higher up the leaderboard and now finds himself sitting right around average in chips.

Chris Karagulleyan started things off with a raise to 125,000 from early position. Cimpan made the call from the button and Payman Arjang joined them from the big blind.

The flop came {J-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} and both Payman and Chris checked to Cornel, who fired a 200,000 bet, which was enough to chase everyone away.

After having faced elimination on more than one occasion today, Cimpan now sits with a very workable stack, about 1.8 million chips.
