Cimpan Bluffs Ferguson Out of a Pot; Opts to Rub it in a Little

Action folded around the table to Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson in the small blind who made it 150,000 to go. Cornel Andrew Cimpan tossed in the extra 100,000 it cost him to call in the big blind and the two went heads-up to the flop, which came {J-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {8-Hearts}.

Both players checked the flop, opting to move straight to 4th Street which was the {6-Hearts}. Ferguson then fired a bet of 225,000, which Cimpan called with an apparent sense of certainty.

The last card off the deck was the {3-Spades}, which prompted Ferguson to pass the action over to Cimpan, who fired a 325,000 bullet. After a brief moment of consideration, Ferguson eventually decided to fold. Cimpan then held his hole cards high in the air, and even dangerously close to Ferguson's face (the two are sitting directly next to each other), saying, "Ten high, baby! Ten high!"

The win drove Cimpan past the two million mark in chips for the first time in the tournament.
