Liz Lieu raised from the cutoff and Gerard Rodriguez Porteza went all in from the button for 18,600 more. Lieu made the call with and was ahead of Porteza's .
However, the board ran out as Porteza's flush took down the pot. He chips up to just over 40,000 while Liz Lieu is left with about 30,000.
Welcome back to day 2 of the first ever WPT in Africa here in beautiful Marrakech. Frenchman Guillaume de la Gorce is the chip leader with 157,900 though players such as Ludovic Lacay, Annette Obrestad, Liz Lieu, Benny Spindler and Scott Montgomery are all still in contention.
With 151 players still remaining and the tournament to be finished tomorrow, today could be a very long day's worth of play. It is unlikely we'll reach the final table but the plan should be that we make the final two or three tables hopefully by the close of the day.
