Davies Stays Alive After Cracking Van den Berg's Aces

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Scott Davies moved all in before the flop for 95,000 chips and Thierry van den Berg moved all in over the top. The other players folded and the showdown went as following.

Van den Berg: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Davies: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Van den Berg was in great shape to rake in a big pot, but the flop brought disaster with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}. The Dutchman was very disappointed and the turn, the {5-Spades}, nor river, the {10-Spades}, changed the outcome of the hand. Van den Berg is now one of the short stacks.
