The clock made mention of a 50 ante with blinds at 100 and 200. Some tables actually played with the ante that big for a couple hands, before the organization announced it in fact was just the normal 25 ante and they changed the clock.
"Now you guys understand why I made it 500" we overheard Thierry van den Berg tell his table. He benefited from the bigger ante, but things are back to normal now.

Fast Busts Boeken With Set Over Set

Noah Boeken, the first ever Dutch EPT champion and victorious in Holland's biggest tournament the MCOP back in 2013, has just departed the WPT Amsterdam Main Event. His chips are now in possession of his former neighbor Dietrich Fast.
From middle position, Marc MacDonnell opened for 400 and two to his left hijack Dietrich Fast three-bet to 1,200. Noah Boeken cold called from the cutoff and MacDonnell called as well.
The 
flop saw MacDonnell and Fast both check. Boeken bet 2,000 and MacDonnell folded, just Fast called. Fast continued with his more passive approach with the 
on the turn, checking to Boeken. Boeken fired 4,300 and Fast made the call.
The river came the 
and Fast checked for the third time. Boeken shoved all in for an undisclosed amount, and Fast made the Phil Hellmuth-patented insta call, showing his 
instantly. Boeken had his 
open for just a second before tossing them in the muck upon finding out his set was no good anymore.
Boeken has the option to reenter tomorrow if he wants to, today he won't get a second shot at it.

Three Hands With Clyde Tjauw Foe

Clyde Tjauw Foe, a regular on the international poker circuit and final tablist of the Master Classics of Poker Main Event for the last two years, was down a bit before he got on a little streak that saw him win three pot in a row.
1) After a raise it was Clyde Tjauw Foe calling, before Joris Ruys squeezed. Action folded around to Tjauw Foe and he just called again. Tjauw Foe check called a bet of 1,350 on 
before both he and Ruys checked the 
on the turn. The completed the board and Tjauw Foe bet 6,200. Ruys called, but mucked upon seeing Tjauw Foe's 
.
2) Under the gun, Tjauw Foe made it 450 and action folded around to Pieter de Korver. The EPT Grand Final champion three-bet to 1,625 and Tjauw Foe called. Tjauw Foe check called a bet of 2,000 on 
before both of them checked the 
on the turn. The 
hit the river and Tjauw Foe bet a hefty 10,000. De Korver shook his head a little before folding.
3) A player in middle position limped, the button limped, the small blind completed and big blind Tjauw Foe checked. Action checked to the button on 
and he bet 200. The small blind instantly folded, but Tjauw Foe check raised to 700. The first limper folded and the button called. The button folded as soon as Tjauw Foe fired 2,300 on the 
turn though, gifting Tjauw Foe the win in his third pot in a row.

Fast Versus Ste

After an early position open to 400, WPT L.A Poker Classic and WSOPE winner Dietrich Fast three-bet to 1,200 from the hijack. Dutch regular Wladimir Ste cold called from the small blind, the initial raiser gave up and folded.
Ste checked on and saw his opponent bet 1,500. Ste called, and check called another 4,300 on the 
turn. The river came the and Ste checked for the third time. Fast answered with a bet of 7,800 and Ste tanked for a bit before calling.
Fast showed 
for the missed flopped flush draw that had turned into runner runner two pair. Ste mucked.

Yachou and Onrust Play a Big One

As we arrived, the flop was already out in a four way pot. Small blind Farid Yachou was first to act and checked on 
. The player under the gun bet 600 and Jesper Onrust, seated two to his left, instantly raised to 2,000. The player on the button folded and Yachou called from the small blind. The under the gun player folded.
The hit the turn and Yachou checked. Onrust bet 5,500 and Yachou called.
With the 
completing the board, Yachou checked a third time. Onrust contemplated what to do for a bit, before eventually saying "I think you're good" while checking behind.
Yachou wasn't so sure about that and showed his 
for the flopped pair and flush draw. Onrust tabled 
for the winning hand and raked in the chips.
Despite losing this pot, Yachou is still hovering around starting stack. Last year he won this very event, and he went on to win the World Poker Tour Tournament of Champions just last month, making for a true Cinderella story. Those are the only two cashes on his palmares, so anything but a win will bring down his average result on his HendonMob page.
